The 2009 SMX conferences start of in Europe, in Spain to be exactly, with the SMX Travel in Madrid. This year SMX Madrid is organized by Eventos OME. SMX will be part of the Fitur 2009.
Fitur is the biggest tourism trade fair in Europe.
From January 28th until January 30th part of the Fitur-venue will host keynotes, workshops and panels who will all have a focus on travel & search.
Rafael Fernandez Tamames, content director of Eventos OME: “SMX Travel@ Fitur is geared to trade professionals who want to participate in talks and seminars on SEM delivered by acknowledged experts in the field. And if you are a specialist, the event will give you the opportunity to exchange ideas with people that speak the same language.”
A part of the program isn’t confirmed yet, but speakers are amongst others: Vicenç Marti (Chief Marketing Vueling), Galaria Faisal (Kayak.com) and Marcello Sarno (CEO, Sprachcaffe Languages Plus International).
